The Russian manicure, still unknown a few months ago, has become a must for manicure fans. But what is it and how does it take place? We asked the questions to Gloss'Up which carries it out within its institutes. We explain everything about the phenomenon!
Could you explain what Russian manicure is?
Russian manicure is THE nail treatment par excellence. It is a precise manicure that allows you to perfectly clean the contours of the nails. It allows you to have a perfectly clear result following the application of varnish, whether classic or semi-permanent. We clean the skin around the nails, and we lift the cuticle in order to apply the varnish underneath. There should be no demarcation. It is true that it is a surprising manicure, but completely painless. Little known in France, it is the most advanced technique for a flawless result.
How is Russian manicure done?
The Russian manicure is a manicure carried out entirely with a sander using different tips. These are chosen according to the areas worked on the nail and its contours. Another thing that is important is that it must be carried out by professionals, because it requires a lot of gentleness.
What are the main advantages?
The main advantage, beyond the perfectly clear result, is in the regrowth of your nail and thus the duration of the varnish applied. In fact, by lifting the cuticle during the manicure, the varnish will be placed underneath and thus you can gain up to 1 week of additional hold compared to your regrowth.
- We recommend the use of a cuticle oil afterwards if you do not apply varnish in order to nourish the nail and the cuticle area. Before applying varnish, think about the step of base and a color rich in care . -
What is the price to make it?
There are many formulas available at Gloss'Up Beauty Bar to do the Russian manicure. The price starts from 70€ for classic varnish and 75€ for Semi-permanent varnish (average hold is 4 weeks).
How can I be sure that my Practitioner is well trained in the method?
Very few practitioners in Paris are trained in this technique which requires precise training. Don't hesitate to ask the team directly, or go to their social networks to see different creations. At Gloss'Up our team is trained for this service and will be happy to welcome you!
thanks to Gloss'Up and to his entire team!
